Google maps mobile?

i have a blackberry 8310 for at%26amp;t and i want to download google maps mobile on it... the site says that i need a data plan for it to be free... ( im guessing) so what kind of plan do i need and is it actually 100% free...

p.s. i have unlimited internet on my blackberry

thanks

whenever i go on it, it asks me something like ' google maps has requested to use your gps capability... would you like to accept this/" when i put in "no" the application shows exactly where i am in the country... is this normal for google maps or is this google maps using a data plan that i dont have and costing me money??? thanks again

Google maps mobile?
Well you do not have to pay anything to use google maps. It is a free service provided by Google, and since you have the unlimited data plan you would be in the clear. The reason why it asks to access your gps capabilities is becuase you have a built in gps chip on you phone and that is what is trying to access. So yes with built in gps locators it is normal for it to show exaclty where you are.
