No you can't sue.You have no right to complain. It's freedom of the press. The story was probably reported by your local newspaper as a service to the public.

Most local papers have a police log section, and all of them should. It's important for law abiding citizens to know what is going on in their community. A little public humiliation could take a big step towards reforming those who try to get around the laws of the land.

Just take it in stride, learn from your mistakes, and become a more productive citizen.
Reply:You have the right to do just about anything you want. All they did was post a story from a newspaper. Just how are you going to make their lives miserable? I really don't understand what you are trying to do.
Reply:You say it was a mistake on your part, so I assume you were convicted, not just arrested; and I assume you have already done whatever your sentence was.

If you were not convicted, then you can prove this.

But you can't entirely blame Google for the consequences of your mistake. You can never predict what will happen due to your actions; but you are the one that has to deal with it. If you keep this in mind, you can take control of your life again.
Reply:You will just make matters worse. How many mistakes do you want to make?
