Google still remembers my username and my password?

Every time I try lto og in to my googlemail (or gmail) account to check my email, google seems to remember my username and password. As soon as I key in the first letter of my username, it lists my username and if I choose it, it remembers my password too without me having to re-type it.

I never tick "Remember me on this computer" because my computer is also accesed by others, and I always delete all internet temporary files including cookies as soon as I finish using Internet Explorer.

It's worrying me because I don't want and like google to remember my username and password. What happens if someone else tries to key in the first letter of my username, that person will automatically get accessed to my email because google also provides my password. I followed google advice, but still doesn't do anything.

Is there anybody out there who knows how to solve my problem for google not to remember my username and my password?

Please help me.

Thanks.

Hey,

It sounds to me like your Internet Browser is remebering your passwords and user information. Its not actually the site the problem is located on your computer.

Go to your Internet Properties on the General Tab click Delete and Delete all, this should fix the problem!

Note: This is for Internet Explorer.

Reply:I am an IT expert and it sounds as though u have a bug/virus on your computer. You are not only risking your email accoount but your entire computer and it's files. Get it checked out by an IT person pretty quick, or install some free anti-virus software than can scan, detect and restore your computer.

Its a very good site!!
Reply:Each time a user visits a website using Microsoft Internet Explorer, files downloaded with each web page are saved to the Temporary Internet Files folder, created a cache of the web page on the local computer's hard disk. The next time the user visits the cached website, only changed content needs to be downloaded from the Internet; the unchanged data is available in the cache.

To delete the files in the Temporary Internet Files folder, follow these steps:

IE

1. Quit Internet Explorer and quit any instances of Windows Explorer.

2. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Internet Options.

3. On the General tab, click Delete Files under Temporary Internet Files.

4. In the Delete Files dialog box, click to select the Delete all offline content check box , and then click OK.

5. Click OK.

Firefox

C:\Documents and Settings\%26lt;USER%26gt;\Application Data\

Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\%26lt;files %26gt;

you can delete each individual history file, as they will just be recreated once you restart firefox. Be sure to close firefox before deleting anything.
Reply:If u use Internet Explorer 7 wich is the vista style, and u want to delete all ur passwords on ur computer.

Then go to Tools next u go to Delete Browsing History and then u go delete passwords.

U should also download Opera browser from www.opera.com it doesn't save any passwords or what u've searched for at google..
