Google and Wikipedia Are Your Friends?

Search Google and Wikipedia for Fast Answers

Most People Use Google [ http://www.google.com/ ] and Wikipedia [ http://www.wikipedia.org/ ]. It appears that you are not one of them

Someone thinks you are an idiot because you were too stupid to check Google and/or before asking a question here on Yahoo! Answers. So next time you need to get answers try doing some research as people who answer your questions here on Y! Answers will often redirect you to Wikipedia articles or Google search results.

Please don't be offended by this entry. I just want you to save you some Y! points for "real" questions that you cannot find the answers elsewhere.

Hope that helps. Have a nice day.

Google and Wikipedia Are Your Friends?
What is really your question? It appears you are trying to offend someone, but at any event, some people really don't know that much about the computer, the internet, and its capabilities. I agree that simply giving an answer as a link to google or wikipedia isn't much help, but if the link is provided with some sort of a decent answer and the link only there as a source (as it is intended), then all is good. I do not understand why certain questions are asked, simply because they seem so "easy" or lame even, but again, keep in mind, not everyone has logged on over 50,000 hours on the internet, while others have.
Reply:Good answer. Report It

Reply:I understood this already. I am here for fun and friends, something I can't get at the simplistic and monolithic google or at my favorite site, wikipedia.
Reply:You have a nice day as well. and thanks for two points.
Reply:You can't find everything with those sites though! That's why we need people to answer our questions. :P
