Google used to be my homepage. Then I tried Yahoo. Now I can't get Google back. Why am I stuck with Yahoo?

I love Yahoo itself, but I would prefer to go back to Google just for my homepage. When I first go on the internet, all I really want is the Google searchbar, front %26amp; center! I have tried going through "tools, internet options", and also by going to Google and checking the box that says "make Google your homepage". Whatever I do, it always just goes right back to Yahoo. I don't know what else to do. Why is it doing this and how do I make it stop?

Do you have the Yahoo toolbar installed? Try removing it if so.

If you dont have it installed, you got me with this one...
Reply:First go to Google.com homepage, Then go Under tools, go to internet options Home page. Set (press) use current page, hit apply at the bottom of the screen and then hit OK and that will do it. You must do that order for it to work all the time.
Reply:You really don't say what your browser is, but as long as you have the yahoo toolbar your gonna be stuck with yahoo as your home page. like if you had the AOL toolbar, you would be stuck with AOL home page Same for Google.

I don't want to "Rain on your Parade" but you like many people are suckered in to just about anything because it seems cool. We have a Computer repair shop here in my town and the guy has on his website. "Don't blame me if your computer's not working because you installed a program to pick your lottery numbers."

while that seems hard what he really is driving at, is you put this crap on your computer and then think that's going to make it better when, if you left it alone it would have been just fine!
